As a Holistic Massage Therapist, Maria is a New York licensed LMT and received a diploma from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage.She has over 500 additional hours training in health and bodywork. She is also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics. She first became interested in health benefits of massage when trying to improve her own health and overcome the debilitating effects of spinal injury and fibromyalgia. Maria's goal is to provide you with the highest quality massage therapy for improving your health and maintaining optimal wellness. She has a special interest and holistic approach for pain management and returning the body to its natural balance. She has found Bowen therapy to be a great technique for many aspects of pain management and improved health and has completed basic and advanced training from two international Bowen therapy schools. She provides Bowen Therapy along with many other therapies. |
